With a passion for the hospitality industry spanning over 50 years, Joe & Margaret Scally had the vision to create Cork city’s first 5 star hotel over 20 years ago in the grounds of an old manor house, renowned locally for its easily accessible apple orchard!

 

With careful hands-on planning, Hayfield Manor emerged onto the Irish market in 1996 and so began our mission to become Ireland’s top leisure destination. With the help of their current team, Joe & Margaret are committed to ensuring that guests of Hayfield Manor receive the service that they deserve, delivered with the authentic hospitality for which Corkonians are known.

 

The hotel is owned by the Scally Family and along with their team are dedicated to continuing a tradition of exemplary hospitality. Our staff are led by our dynamic General Manager Ettienne Van Vrede, which is married to our proprietors daughter Annemarie Scally. Jointly, Ettienne and Annemarie manage Hayfield Manor with passion and pride.  We are unique as our staff. We work together as a team and enjoy the challenge of maintaining Hayfield Manor as Cork’s premier five star property.
